Hi Everyone!

Below are links to two great articles highlighting the SOS program and some
great collaborations.

1. In Wyoming, sagebrush seed collected through the SOS program comes full
circle through the Native Plant Materials Development Process as it's
collected, cleaned, and grown with partners in the Sagebrush in Prisons
Project. This fall, the seedlings were planted back out on the landscape
with the help of volunteers. Check out the article

 and You-Tube <https://youtu.be/CTrD7n1A7eg>video!

2. In the Great Basin "a cup full of seed equals big success" as the BLM,
Forest Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife and other partners team up for the
first time to collect seed for the SOS program. These agencies recognize
the need to pool resources and coordinate their efforts to accomplish a
common goal: increase the availability of ecologically appropriate native
plant materials needed for restoring and maintaining resilient ecosystems
in the Great Basin. Click on the link

If you know of any other published articles highlighting the SOS program or
have SOS success stories to share, please e-mail rhosna at blm.gov.

Thanks to everyone who has been involved in these projects and the larger
SOS program!

Best,

Rachel
