Hi everyone,
A few quick updates for you, we will talk more about these and some other end of season stuff at the Monthly collector call next Tuesday:
1.
The QC dashboards in your data management site are now fully connected to our revised seed tracking form. If you are sending seeds to the NLGRP you should be able to see those collections accounted for now on the first page of the QC dashboard.
2.
For collections going to the NLGRP, it is ESSENTIAL that the proper steps for labeling boxes and creating seed tracking forms are followed. Guidance for sending seeds to the NLGRP and filling out the tracking form is attached to this email and in the GeoPlatform help documents titled "Shipping Seed to NLGRP 24.10.21". If the person shipping the seed does not have access to the GeoPlatform / seed tracking form, contact your agency coordinator or Sarah Hill, shill at blm.gov. If you have any questions about seed shipping forms or the process for shipping seed to NLGRP we will go over it at the next collector call.
3.
Reminder that seed tracking forms should only be created WHEN SEED IS BEING SHIPPED. These are real time tracking for what seed is where. If a collection has a seed tracking form pre filled out, but it has not actually been shipped anywhere, that is not helpful. Seed tracking forms that were filled out too early and/or that were filled out for the wrong facility, must be deleted.
4.
Seed tracking forms can be edited/deleted following the instructions on the document "How to edit seed tracking forms" which is attached to this email and in the Geoplatform help documents. If you are having trouble, email Kristy Snyder, ksnyder at blm.gov<mailto:ksnyder at blm.gov> , with the collection number that you want to edit and ask her to delete it. Create a new form when seeds are actually shipped. If the person shipping the seeds does not have access to the geoplatform, contact your agency coordinator or Sarah Hill, shill at blm.gov<mailto:shill at blm.gov> and she will help with the forms.
Thank you all for being flexible and patient during this historic SOS season!
I look forward to checking in with you all next Tuesday!
For the seeds,
Sarah
