To celebrate Native American Heritage Month, the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) is hosting a presentation by Rowen White, Creative Director of Sierra Seeds and founder of the Indigenous SeedKeepers Network:

Event Details:
Intergenerational Knowledge and the Cultural Biodiversity of Seeds, Nov 8, 1:00PM MST
Centering Indigenous leaders within environmental movements has always been, and will always be, critical for successful conservation efforts and community engagement. This special event will focus on pathways and connections between food sovereignty, land-based relationships, conservation, and the resulting benefits for biodiversity. Join us and Rowen White to cultivate methods for engaging your community in seed-stewardship, and become part of the native seed solution throughout your ecoregion. During this event we will be releasing a brand-new Seed Keeping Info-Sheet with helpful tips to guide all partners and volunteers in safely saving seeds from your pollinator gardens. Let's celebrate Native American Heritage Month together and learn from an inspiring leader in the field of Indigenous seed and food sovereignty. We look forward to your participation!
