Have your communications supported ecological restoration?
Without education and outreach, even the best plans can stall during takeoff. That's why the fourth goal of the National Seed Strategy for Rehabilitation and Restoration<https://www.blm.gov/sites/blm.gov/files/program_natural%20resources_seed%20strategy_quick%20link_seed%20stregy.pdf> is to ensure good communications within Federal agencies and among non-Federal stakeholders. These communications can (and should) take place at all stages of implementing the National Seed Strategy, from fostering interagency collaboration to sharing success stories and lessons learned.

Please use the link below to share information on your education and outreach efforts highlighting the use of locally adapted plant species for ecological restoration in the US. Respondents do not need to be well-versed in the National Seed Strategy to report progress -- the reporting form will walk you through it.

Please also consider sharing this email with your federal colleagues and federal partners to submit information on any relevant education and outreach projects conducted, funded, or supported in any way, by the September 1 deadline.
Report your education and outreach projects through the National Seed Strategy reporting portal<https://www.usgs.gov/center-news/national-seed-strategy-report>.
