Exciting job opening at Kew Royal Botanic Gardens! Kew is looking for a
Seed Banking Botanist to ID voucher specimens and travel the world doing
some Herbarium & Millennium Seed Bank curation work and seed collecting.
Closing 21 June.

This is a vital role for Kew Science supporting the activities for the
‘Banking the World’s Seeds’ strategic output, especially through the
identification of voucher specimens for seed collections. In addition, the
job holder may be required to participate in output activities with
partners, including visiting those abroad, by providing identifications,
training, and join collecting trips in situ. The job will also involve some
curation to meet Kew’s statutory obligations by maintaining and improving
Kew’s collections in the Herbarium and the Millennium Seed Bank.
