*Clearance forms* – Please submit these, with at least 30 days turn around
time, if you would like any seed balance returned to your office.  If you
have more than 3 collections to request back, please use the Word document
and add extra rows to the form.

 *Annual report *– Don’t forget that annual reports will be due at the end
of the calendar year.  Please take a look at them and keep track of
partnerships, volunteers, and educational/outreach events.

o   Pertain to current year collections processed by Bend (2013 only)
o   Must be sent to SOS National Office for approval
o   Must include FedEx number to cover shipping expense
o   Must provide at least 30 days for the seed to be returned

o    CONGRATULATIONS to Kayla Herriman who was promoted to BSE Manager, you
may contact her at 541-383-5481 or kherriman at fs.fed.us
o    10 crew members, working on the priority collections to be returned,
479 seed lot received
o    If you find seed that didn’t get sent to Bend, please contact them as
soon as possible so it can be combined with the original collection.  We
are trying to avoid cleaning seed from the same collection twice

*Q&A*

-       Q: How long does it take for the Smithsonian to document SOS
collections as they come in?

A: Every accession coming in receives a number and is entered into their
database.  Email Andrew Clark to check on the status of a voucher.
