Hello,
I'm trying to put together a paper on the benefits of using local
genotype/ecotype seeds for restoration purposes (mostly prairie and
wetland restoration); and was wondering if you could give some guidance on
references or current pertinent research. Utilizing local genotype is a
very important topic that needs more attention (there are organizations
that promote natives, but shun local genotypes because they reason that it
isn't cost-effective, which isn't necessarily true), and was hoping to get
additional input on this subject.
