[PCA] 5th Southwest Rare Plant Conf - SLC - March 16-20, 2009

The Utah Native Plant Society will be hosting the next Southwest Rare 
Plant Conference (which will incorporate the annual Utah Rare Plant 
Task Force Conference in a breakout session).

The event entitled "Changing Landscapes in the Southwest" will be 
held in Salt Lake City, Utah on the University of Utah campus from 
March 16 through 20, 2009. Topics will range from rare plant issues 
(Southwest region as well as Utah) plant community and ecological 
restoration, climate change issues and others. Format will include 
posters, presentations and breakout sessions. There will be a 
published proceedings from this conference. Dr. Noel Holmgren will be 
our keynote speaker 

Events sponsors currently include Red Butte Garden and The Nature Conservancy.
