Western Reserve Land Conservancy is seeking a seasoned land protection
professional with a passion for conservation work to join our senior management
team as Land Protection Director. This position oversees all land protection in
our 14-county service area in northern Ohio. The LP Director leads our land
protection program, which includes facilitating the selection of projects,
managing the land protection team, assisting with negotiations, collaborating with
other leaders in the organization, and working on land protection deals where
necessary. This person is responsible for securing funding from a variety of
sources to meet land protection needs, engaging our board of trustees in our land
protection work, and training project managers. Western Reserve Land Conservancy
is a nationally recognized, dynamic, and growing organization. We are looking for
an individual who is committed to our mission, able to build strong relationships,
communicate persuasively, and manage complex land protection transactions.
Familiarity with northern Ohio is a plus. Position provides excellent salary and
