Forgive the cross-postings, but given the recent discussions over
standardization, this may prove interesting. The attached agenda has the
times.

                                       21st!

 Hello friends and colleagues,

On Wednesday, March 21st, The Nature Conservancy will be convening an
"Exotics Database Summit" at our Disney Wilderness Preserve in Kissimmee,
FL.

We will be highlighting 7 different invasives database and/or mapping
programs, covering a wide variety of applications. From local and
international scopes, tracking occurrences and/or treatments over time,
involving one entity, or multipartnership reporting, this database summit
strives to explore the unique differences and advantages of our programs,
as well as identify our common backbone data so that we may address
invasives on a statewide scale.

While not everyone can attend in person, The Nature Conservancy would like
to extend the invitation for you to watch and listen online via our WebEx
portal. You can tune in and out as you wish, ask questions and participate
in the discussion, if you so choose.

We do apologize for the lateness of this announcement, it was not until
recently that we decided to take advantage of this technology to reach a
wider audience. We will strive to broadcast the results of this meeting,
post the presentations, and pursue more web-hosted events in the future.

Please distribute to whomever you feel may benefit from this event.
Details on how to join the virtual event are below my signature. Thank
you!
