Join us in San Diego - the county with the most diverse flora in all of
California! Every year, Cal-IPC hosts a three-day Symposium to bring
together weed scientists, land managers, federal, state, and local
agencies, and concerned citizens to share the latest information about
invasive plants, their impacts on California's ecosystems, control and
management strategies, and other relevant topics. Each symposium includes
presentations, research posters, working and discussion groups, and field
trips. Approximately 375 people attended the 2006 Symposium. This year, we
will convene at the Bahia Resort Hotel on beautiful Mission Bay. Special
sessions will address "Conservation and Communication: The Human Dimension
in Invasive Plant Management."
