      The Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation’s Aquatic
      Nuisance Species Management Program seeks a bright, energetic,
      environmentally astute person for an Environmental Scientist III
      position to work as a member of the Program’s team to implement an
      effective Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS) management program for the
      state.  The position is responsible for coordinating the state’s
      efforts to prevent the introduction and spread of aquatic nuisance
      species, including: implementing a statewide “watchers” program,
      overseeing the implementation of the ANS voluntary sticker program,
      and participating in regional efforts.  In addition, the position
      serves as Program lead and Department expert on invasive aquatic
      animal species and their methods of control.
