[APWG] Any ELDERS?

How about using some other term than elder, or if not a single word, maybe
you are actually looking for people who have worked in the field for some
number of years. How about "long time leaders for around 20 or more years"
or something like that? Experience gets away from age issues, which can be
touchy (obviously).

Thank you for your email.  It's not age that makes you an elder of a
culture, and you don't have to be dead---but that you have provided
leadership by using your creativity to try invent some solutions for
weed management and/or ecological restoration issues, or that the person
has added some philosophical underpinnings to weed management, or
ecological restoration.
