Ecology/Botany background.

Incumbent makes field observation of natural resource conditions and
vegetation, including ability to identify plant species in the field or to
readily learn how to identify target plant species.  Performs recurring
vegetation management tasks in the filed, including associated data
collection, working cooperatively with other members of a field team, often
with little direct supervision from a staff person.  Applies the
terminology, procedures, methods and practices of vegetation/botanical
sciences.  Maintains and organizes computer database.  Operates on and off
road vehicles to travel to project site locations.
