Hello seed enthusiasts, collectors, and support staff!

Spring is right around the corner, and that means scouting and collecting are upon us as well. Here are some updates and reminders as we head into March:

"Getting Started With SOS" page live on the BLM website
Find all the steps needed to get new crewmembers and teams on boarded (including links to register for the collector call, training and digital data collection): https://www.blm.gov/programs/native-plant-communities/native-plant-and-seed-material-development/collection/sos-getting-started

Training
Two trainings are scheduled for March - a full virtual and an abbreviated virtual for folks who have done SOS in the past. The program has changed a bit over the years, including some modifications in 2024, so make sure you sign up for at least one training in 2024 to stay informed. Register for the trainings through the link on the getting started page.

March 7, 9:30am - 12:30pm; Abbreviated training
  *
