Greeting,

Attached are the notes from September's collectors' call and an inventory
of SOS material at the Bend Seed Extractory.

In early October the cleaned and processed SOS material at Bend will be
moving to the Western Regional Plant Introduction Station in Pullman, WA
for incorporation into the SOS National Collection within the National
Plant Germplasm System. The Bend material will join the 1293 collections
that are already part of the NPGS. The NPGS provides a mechanism for
transferring SOS material to native plant researchers, as well as curation
services.

Please review the attached Bend inventory, highlight the collections you
would like returned (only your collections for the first go around) and
provide a return address in the space provided. Have this into me no later
than September 25th, 5pm EST.

Distribution of Material Breakdown:
First 10,000 seeds go to the SOS National Collection
      1-5,000 - conservation collection/long-term storage
      5,001-10,000 - distribution/ working collection
>10,001 seeds returned to the address you provide

Please call if you have any questions.

Thank You,
Mary
