Mary,

I've been using a poly-lined foil pouch (Kapak) for storing seed,  
recommended to me by Loren Wiesner (retired from Nat'l Center for  
Genetic Resource Preservation, Ft. Collins, CO).  Envelopes are  
available in various sizes and thickness of poly/foil, but they can be  
cut and heat sealed to any size.  Kapak has been acquired by Ampac, out
