Managing Forests as Habitat in a Changing World: A Panel Discussion Webinar, Series #7: Riparian Conservation and Management
Webinar date/time: Tuesday July 15; 12-1:30pm ET
Duration: 1.5 hours
What will you learn?
This webinar is the seventh in a 12-part monthly series that will feature interactive panel discussions that explore shifting impacts on forest habitats and adaptation options for natural resources management. Panels will represent a diversity of scientists and natural resources managers and will provide examples of ecological silviculture, restoration actions, and collaborative conservation stories.
Join for a well-rounded panel of enthusiastic researchers and program leaders for a discussion on riparian management and conservation. We will explore challenges facing shifting hydrologic regimes, discuss impacts of forest management on riparian systems, and how to best manage our riparian forests for wildlife and water quality. The panelists come from a range of disciplines, agencies, and ecoregions to collectively represent America's riparian forests.
