2023 North American Prairie Conference

What will you learn? Join prairie experts, enthusiasts, professionals and more for America's oldest and most celebrated native grassland conference!

This year's conference will be held in central Iowa at the Meadows Events & Conference Center at Prairie Meadows and will feature three keynote speakers and numerous concurrent sessions. Field trips are planned to fascinating prairies as well as a BBQ dinner.

Keynote Speakers include:

Dr. Laura Jackson, Director, University of Northern Iowa Tallgrass Prairie Center
Eric Lee-Mäder, Co-Director, Pollinator Conservation, Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation
Douglas Ladd, Former Director of Conservation, The Nature Conservancy in Missouri

Fees/other:
4 day: $325 or $375 beginning June 9
1 day (either Monday, Tuesday (field trip day), Wednesday, or Thursday): $150 or $175 beginning June 9
Student rate : 4 day - $200, 1 day - $60 *(students should have current enrollment in high school, a college  undergraduate program, or a graduate program, or have graduated from high school or college within the last year, since January 2022)
