Registration is live for the 2023 Center for Plant Conservation National
Meeting <https://saveplants.org/national-meeting/> taking place May 4-6!
This year's hybrid format meeting will feature both in-person and online
presentation sessions highlighting the theme of “On the Horizon: Looking to
the Future of Plant Conservation.” In-person sessions will be held at
Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, and will be live streamed and recorded
for later viewing on the virtual conference platform. Virtual attendees
will also have access to pre-recorded presentation content and virtual
breakout sessions. In addition to lightning talks from the CPC network, the
National Meeting will include a Special Symposium from the Global
Conservation Consortia for Oaks, Magnolias, and Cycads. Institutional and
Individual Conservation Partners are invited to submit abstracts for
presentation sessions highlighting this year’s theme. Presentation
abstracts are due and early bird registration ends on March 15th. Virtual
registration is open until April 27th.

We encourage nonmembers to attend virtually or contact the CPC National
Office about possibly attending in person to learn more about our
community. We particularly look forward to opportunities to engage with our
federal partners about conservation collaboration. Learn more about options
for individual or institutional membership:

The National Meeting will also include a Rare Plant Photo Contest and a
Botanical Art Contest, both with cash prizes. Contests are open to both
virtual and in-person attendees. Submissions to the Botanical Art Contest
will be accepted here until March 9th:
