*Overview: Explore a new career with the BLM - where our people are our greatest natural resource. The Invasive Species (Weeds) Program Lead position is located in Boise, ID.

Pay scale & grade: GS 14

*Position: Responsibilities:
1. The incumbent serves as the Invasive Species (Weeds) Program Lead and independently establishes and develops invasive species (weeds) program policy direction for the Division, Directorate, and the BLM.
2. The incumbent provides input and advice to senior management officials related to managing highly complex and diverse natural resources issues, including land use planning and treatments applications in areas with potential resource conflicts.
3. Establishes and maintains relationships with other agencies within the Department of the Interior, agencies within the Department of Agriculture, Environmental Protection Agency, State and local governments, industry, and public interest groups.
4. Provide national leadership to states and centers when conducting risk assessments, analyses, scientific inquiry, and evaluations of selected Bureau-wide systems, program operations, policies, or problem areas.

*Location: Position is located in the Division of Forest, Range, and Vegetation Resources in Boise, ID for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Headquarters Office.
