Applications are now being accepted for The Environmental Professionals
Training Program at The Dawes Arboretum in Newark, Ohio

This in-depth residential program provides specialized knowledge in native
plant conservation, natural resource management, ecosystem restoration and
the curation of plant collections through direct training experiences. As
an advanced career training program, the 5-month position is specifically
designed to accelerate experience for recent graduates who are seeking
practical skills, in order to enhance credentials and assist in
occupational advancement. Participants gain the skills necessary to
demonstrate proficiency in the field by working alongside and networking
with fellow conservation professionals in a variety of work environments.

The Dawes Arboretum is dedicated to enriching lives through the
conservation of trees and nature.  Located on nearly 2,000 acres, The
Arboretum is home to a variety of natural habitats, including wetlands,
woodlands, prairies, riparian forest and farmland in addition to hosting
more than 16,000 accessioned living plant specimens and an impressive
herbarium.
