Garden Assistant

Apricot Lane Farms is looking for an experienced, highly efficient person
to work in our garden.

Principal Accountabilities:
- Assist with greenhouse management, weed management, soil preparation,
pest management & disease monitoring, compost tea application and irrigation
- Assist with all aspects of garden planting and harvesting
- Assist with preparation for sales of produce
- Assists with detailed record-keeping of garden processes
- Record keeping will include, but not be limited to, fertilizer
application, crop rotation, seed purchases and more
- Assist with establishing a yearly rotation schedule
Requirements:
- At least 2 years garden/harvesting experience
- Have the ability to lift 50+ pounds at a time
- Is comfortable working with a team and independently
- Can follow direction
- Is detail oriented
- Is able to work efficiently/productively in all kinds of weather
