stop Burlington North line.) What it’s all about?  Communicating science
effectively to a wide audience is more important than ever in a world that
looks at science and data with increasing skepticism. Learn from some of
the best science communicators how they craft messages that resonate and
deliver content in ways that are fun, engaging, and informative. Speakers
include Emily Therese Cloyd, American Association for the Advancement of
Science Center for Public Engagement with Science and Technology, Rose
Hendricks, Ph.D., FrameWorks Institute, Rob Gropp from AIBS, Rae Wynn-Grant
of the American Museum of Natural History, Chris Martine from Bucknell
University, Giovanni Aloi from the Art Institute, Seattle artist Vaughn
Bell, Ben Whitehouse of the Sky Day Project, and Sam Illingworth, senior
lecturer in science communication from Manchester Metropolitan University
U.K. with poet Dan Simpson. Presenters will focus on multiple communication
pathways from traditional and social media to innovative art-science
