Chico State Herbarium holds a unique library of California's native plants

CHICO -- At Chico State University, there is a natural treasure that 
preserves some of the north state's abundant plant life.

That treasure is the Chico State Herbarium, a library of plants native to 
Northern California, some dating as far back as the late 1800s.
