Dear Friends:

We invite you to join NatureServe in celebrating the life of
Dr. Larry E. Morse, former chief botanist at NatureServe, a legend in
plant conservation, and expert on the flora of the United States
on Tuesday, October 30 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
at The Nature Conservancy's Native Plant Garden
(directions below)

Larry enjoyed a nearly 30-year career in plant conservation that included
serving as the botanist for the Maryland Natural Heritage Program and led
to roles as chief botanist at The Nature Conservancy and then NatureServe
until his retirement in 2006. He was a walking encyclopedia of
information about plant identification and conservation as well as the
cultural uses, historical relevance, and ecological contributions of plants.

During this time, we will share stories and memories and explore how
Larry's influence lives on.

Please RSVP by October 23 to:
