Senior Program Manager Plant Conservation
The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center at the University of Texas at
Austin is seeking candidates to fill the position of Senior Program
Manager of its Plant Conservation program. This position manages all
aspects of the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center's Plant Conservation
Program including rare plant and invasive species programs. Position
requires a B.S. in botany, conservation biology or related field with a
minimum of seven years post-graduate experience or M.S. in botany,
conservation biology or related filed with a minimum of five years
post-graduate experience or Ph.D. in botany, conservation biology or
related field with a minimum of three years post-graduate experience.
Successful candidates for this position should demonstrate an ability to
obtain funding for new and continuing research programs/projects,
coordinate and direct ongoing research and meet reporting and other
project milestones and deadlines. Candidates need also possess a
professional demeanor with excellent oral and written communication
skills.
