The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is pleased to announce that
conservation funds are available in its Endangered Species Conservation
Grant Program. Please note that the grants include both endangered
plants and animals. Please feel free to pass this announcement on to
others who might be interested.

The program will distribute $730,000 to support conservation and recovery
of five federally endangered species: Black capped vireo, Golden-cheeked
Warbler, Navasota ladies'-tresses, Texas prairie dawn and Tobusch
fishhook cactus. Priority funding areas include land acquisition for
habit conservation, species management plans and programs, and research
that will lead to recovery of these five species.
