Subject: job opportunities with the Student Conservation Association

Dear Colleagues,

SCA is now hiring seasonal field staff to lead conservation crews
working on projects across the country. I am writing to request that you
share these opportunities with your constituents or alumni. SCA's
Conservation Corps is currently recruiting staff for our spring and
summer crews with positions from 6 to 12 months in duration. I have
copied a position description and summaries of open Project Leader
positions at the bottom of this email. More detailed information about
positions and application information can be found at
http://www.thesca.org/corps_leaders/

SCA can also help you connect with our alumni looking for volunteer and
professional opportunities in your area. SCA has more than 45,000 alumni
across the country and each year more than 3,000 new members join their
ranks. After serving at locations across the country, many of these
alumni are seeking to get involved in their own communities. To connect
our alumni with groups like yours, SCA maintains a Green Jobs list that
you may use to post opportunities.

To utilize the Green Jobs bulletin board you can post opportunities
yourself by creating a user name and password at
http://www.thesca.org/green_jobs/ and selecting SCA Jobs Bulletin Board
<http://www.thesca.org/index.php?option=com_joomlaboard&Itemid=950&func=
showcat&catid=11> . Alternately, you can e-mail your opportunity to Deb
Keller at dkeller at thesca.org and she will post it for you.

Sincerely,

Andrea Penglase
