[PCA] A Florida Environmetal Education Website Database For You

Dear Environmental Education - Related Organization:
 

The League of Environmental Educators invites you to establish an account on our environmental education resource website.  It will provide free publicity, a calendar of events, and a searchable database for the public that you can use to reach out to educators and anybody interested in environmental education.  

 

The way you create your information page and submit your events is pretty simple, even I can do it!  

 

First you log on to our new website:  

 

www.leef-florida.org

 

On the left there is a note that says:

 

How to Add or Update EE Organization Profiles and Events
This page includes step-by-step directions for creating a member account, creating an EE Organization Profile, adding individuals to an EE Organization Profile, and posting EE Calendar events. Directions for updating existing Organization Profiles and events are also included.

 

You click on that link and it takes you to the directions for adding organization that is an environmental education resource.  You should first create a member account for yourself, then submit an environmental education organization profile, and finally, if you like, submit calendar events as they come up.

 

I am attaching a worksheet that may make it easier for you to organize the information you will be submitting.  It will allow you to work offline to compose and spell-check all text needed to get your Organization Profile up on the website and into the searchable database.   

 

I think you will find this to be a wonderful resource for reaching people.  This project is supported by a grant from the US Environmental Protection Agency.  We are just starting it up, but if you let other people and organizations involved with environmental education know about it, it will grow very fast.
