The Mission of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service: working with others to

Assistant Director - International Affairs
Division of Scientific Authority

This position is located in the Office of International Affairs, Division 
of Scientific Authority (DSA), which is responsible for all scientific 
evaluations and recommendations of the Service pursuant to the Convention 
on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora 
(CITES), as well as international scientific responsibilities are assigned 
to the Secretary of the Interior, including the role of Scientific 
Authority for the United States under CITES.  The incumbent is a manager 
in the Division of Scientific Authority.
