Conservation Projects Coordinator
DEPT/DIV: Center for Plant Conservation
STATUS: Full time, Regular

Working with Manager, Conservation Programs and Development Manager this 
staff member assists with tasks necessary to fulfill the Garden's contract 
with the Center for Plant Conservation. Researchs the phenology of plant 
species and coordinates seed collection activities. Assists in 
administering cooperative network-wide projects with federal agencies 
tracking project progress and budget and drafting reports. Assists in 
master planning and grant writing for CPC's Technical Program with the 
Manager, Conservation Programs and the Executive Director. Coordinates 
regional and national conservation projects implemented by CPC 
institutions. Coordinates annual workshops.

Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Biology 
or related field ( or quivalent combination of education and experience); 
specialized training or coursework in ecology or conservation preferred. 
Familiarity with plant nomenclature, strong communication, organizational 
and interpersonal skills required. Computer savvy including MS Office, 
must be able to work a flexible schedule and be willing to travel for 
workshops.
