Folks,

There's a private nature center called Strawberry Hill in southcentral 
PA, just a few miles north of the MD line at Emmitsburg, on South 
Mountain (northern part of the Blue Ridge).  It's a lovely area, 
probably 40-45 minutes from Frederick, half an hour from Gettysburg.  
They are looking for a new Executive Director - the announcement below 
was posted on the listserve of the Association of Nature Center 
Administrators.

successful ee programs and 600 acres!

Executive Director:  Small Nature Center and Preserve (600 ac) in South
Central Pennsylvania is looking to hire Executive Director.  Duties include
managing nature center, preserve and rental properties, developing
membership, gift and grant programs, and supervising environmental education
programs.  Candidates will have at least five years of management experience
in non-profit organizations and Master's degree in field related to the
environment, or comparable experience.  Candidates must work effectively
with Board of Directors, possess excellent communications skills,
fundraising skills, and have desire to develop full potential of our
