[MPWG] CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS: 2020 Journal of Medicinal Plant Conservation (deadline 12/15/19)

Forwarding the announcement below for your information...Although the USA
is not a party to the Convention on Biological Diversity, many US-based
researchers focus on issues or projects that inform the sustainable
development goals (including implementing the Global Strategy for Plant
Conservation and contributions to the Montreal Process). It would be great
to see US-focused articles on medicinal plant conservation in the 2020
edition of the Journal!

United Plant Savers and the Medicinal Plant Specialist Group invite
contributions to the Spring 2020 edition of the Journal of Medicinal Plant
Conservation.

The theme will highlight creative solutions to the conservation of
medicinal and aromatic plants from countries working to achieve Convention
on Biological Diversity and Sustainable Development goals. They would also
like to bring attention to commerce that is having a positive impact on
communities and community health of people and plants.

Deadline for submissions: December 15, 2019
