Plant Evolutionary Biology Faculty Curator – University of California,
Department of Integrative Biology and the University Herbarium (Berkeley,
CA)

The Department of Integrative Biology and the University Herbarium at the
University of California, Berkeley, are seeking applications for a
tenure-track position in Plant Evolutionary Biology.  We seek candidates
who have demonstrated excellence, originality and productivity in research,
and interest in undergraduate and graduate teaching as well as public
outreach.   Ph.D. or equivalent is required by date of hire.

Executive Director -- Theodore Payne Foundation (Sun Valley, CA)

Reporting to the Board of Directors and managing a current staff of 17 and
overseeing management of a volunteer program consisting of over 250, the
Theodore Payne Foundation Executive Director serves as the chief executive
officer of TPF. The Executive Director’s primary responsibilities are to
provide visionary leadership for TPF, manage strategic planning,
fundraising and outreach efforts, and supervise operations and programs,
including budgeting and finance, program development, staff supervision,
and resource development.

Plant Biology Faculty – North Central College (Naperville, IL)

North Central College invites applications from broadly trained plant
ecologists or plant evolutionary biologists for a full-time tenure-track
appointment to begin September 1, 2014. A Ph.D. is required, and
post-doctoral experience is strongly desired. The successful candidate will
teach introductory biology, botany and ecology or evolution segments of our
sophomore core, and advanced courses consistent with his/her expertise in
areas such as botany, plant physiology, ecology, evolution or environmental
biology. There will also be opportunities to participate in our
interdisciplinary environmental studies minor and in our general education
curriculum. Applicants should exhibit strong potential for excellence in
undergraduate teaching and mentoring, including a commitment to
collaborative research with undergraduates that includes a field component.
