About the Woodland Steward Summer 2008 Series...Managing Your Legacy
Part of the Biltmore Forest School, the first forestry school in America,
it is a series of workshops modeled after the original school, but
designed for landowners who are seeking land management information. The
series is a partnership between numerous organizations, including the
Cradle of Forestry Interpretive Association, NC Division of Forest
Resources, NCSU Cooperative Extension Service, and the USDA Forest Service
Cradle of Forestry in America. Each of the four workshops is 1.5 days and
includes lectures and hands-on experiences taught by experts in each of
the fields presented. There is a small fee to attend and EE credits are
available."
