Vacancy Announcement for a Biologist in DSA:
JOB SUMMARY: This position is located in the Office of International
Affairs, Division of Scientific Authority (DSA), which is responsible for
all scientific evaluations and recommendations of the Service pursuant to
the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna
and Flora (CITES), as well as international scientific responsibilities
are assigned to the Secretary of the Interior, including the role of
Scientific Authority for the United States under CITES. The incumbent is
a staff specialist in the Division of Scientific Authority.
SALARY RANGE: 66,767.00 - 86,801.00 USD per year
SERIES & GRADE: GS-0401-12/12
PROMOTION POTENTIAL: None
OPEN PERIOD: Wednesday, October 10, 2007 to Wednesday, October 24, 2007
POSITION INFORMATION: Full-Time Permanent
DUTY LOCATIONS: 0001 vacancies - Arlington, VA (Ballston)
