Position Title:
Term biologist (GS-0401-12/12)

Summary of position:
This position is located in the Office of International Affairs, Division 
of Scientific Authority (DSA), which is responsible for all scientific 
evaluations and recommendations of the Service pursuant to the Convention 
on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora 
(CITES), as well as international scientific responsibilities assigned to 
the Secretary of the Interior, including the role of Scientific Authority 
for the United States under CITES.  The incumbent is a staff specialist in 
the Division of Scientific Authority and the focus of this position will 
be work involving foreign (Endangered Species Act) ESA actions.
