Just FYI in case any of you are involved in restoration related to alien
invasive plants. Please contact Jennifer about this directly (instead of
just hitting reply), her contact information is below. This is being
cross-posted to all the PCA related lists, so you might get more than one
copy.

The National Park Service Ecosystem Restoration Program is sponsoring an
initial effort in California and the northeastern United States to develop
a database of restoration techniques related to alien plant invasions. We
would like to know what techniques you are testing to restore native plant
communities after weed control, and what you have learned. Although local
information systems are the basis for local decision making, the knowledge
of practitioners only rarely reaches broad audiences through professional
research or trade journals. We intend to collect and organize this
information so that it is accessible to land managers.

Please click on the link below to learn more about this project and
respond to the posted questions. If you would rather relay your
experiences via phone or in person please call Jennifer Sunderland at
(970) 231-9069.

Thank you,
