I appreciate your mention yesterday that name calling and put downs were
out of line.  I hope that my general message sent earlier today will help
to clarify the issue of topical and respectful postings so that we may
avoid such unproductive "altercations" in the future.

Sorry Steve this was already ready to go. your point is one that is being
remade and it might be that a new lsitserve addresss needs to be created
for "plant convservation topics only" as this one is in motion with  more
expansive topics and needs to continue....albeit the name calling or put
downs
