[MPWG] Information on gambier.

Dear list members,

I shall be grateful if some of upyou could send me information about
gambier, an extract obtained from the wood of some specoies of Acacia(if I
am not mistaken) which is used in tanning.  It is also used as a substitute
of catechu or KATHA in India.  I think that the plant grows in South East
Asia/ Indonesia.

Please also tell me about some website where the pictures of tree can be
seen.
