Fortunately, the solution is generally to release the beetles slow enough
that replanting with the native, bird friendly, species that were replaced
by Saltcedar can occur. Marc Imlay

Department of Agriculture to declare a cease-fire in its biological war
against saltcedar, an invasive tree that has taken over riparian areas
