I'm looking for help in getting an integrated curriculum unit developed
by a group of science education students at my university into the hands
of interested middle school teachers. The unit is designed to raise
awareness of the issues caused by invasive species, using the example of
invasive Phragmites. While it was developed with NJ core content
objectives in mind, it would likely also meet the middle school core
content standards of many other states.

A description of the project, along with the lesson plans are found at
http://gcuonline.georgian.edu/phragmites.htm . If you have suggestions on
ways to get the word out to teachers about this curriculum, lesson plans
you'd like us to add to the collection or any other feedback or
suggestions, we'd really love to hear from you.

Thanks,

Louise
