think you will be interested in. A brief description is below. For more
information on these events, such as agendas and speaker bios, please see
our website, http://www.usna.usda.gov/Education/events.html.

                      Please share this information!

                    Invasive Plant Management Symposium
March 18 (Rescheduled from January 15)
                             9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Experts share their strategies to prevent invasive species from disrupting
our native ecosystems. Speakers draw from research and field experience to
detail effective control practices for private citizens and professional
land managers. Fee of $55 includes lunch. See website for agenda and
speaker bios. Registration required.

                       Lahr Native Plant Symposium:
                   Native Plants: “Cultivars Considered”
                        March 29, 9:00 am - 3:30 pm

How do native plant cultivars fit into our gardens and what are the
possible effects our garden choices have on the natural world? Tony Avent,
renowned horticulturist and owner of Plant Delights Nursery, will explore
this topic along with speakers from research, public gardens, and the
nursery trade. All registrants gain early entry to the Native Plant Sale.
Fee of $85 includes lunch. See website for complete agenda. Registration
required.
