DNR holds hearings on proposed invasive species rules

SPOONER - The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is proposing new
rules for invasive species, and meeting with people throughout the state
for input. One of these hearings was held Thursday, Jan. 10, in the
Spooner Ag Research Station.
State DNR representatives spoke about what they are doing with the rules,
including new ways to classify invasive species and how to define them.
