This is to notify all intersted parties of  two job announcements for
the position of National Survey Coordinator,  APHIS, Plant Protection
and Quarantine.  The position is located in the Emergency and Domestic
Programs staff, located in Riverdale, MD.  It is open now, and closes
February 15, 2007.

>From the announcements:
Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) protects the nation's agricultural
resources from the introduction and spread of plant pests and diseases.
The incumbent will serve as the National Survey Programs Coordinator,
and shares a key leadership responsibility in plant pest surveillance on
a nationwide level.  The Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of
planning and coordination for the Cooperative Agricultural Pest Survey
(CAPS) Program.  Provides a national survey and reporting system for
pest programs mandated by Congress, and to provide core infrastructure
and a collaborative survey and reporting system for pests that may be of
an emergency nature.
