Where is a good source on how hikers can clean their boots before and after
hiking to keep from spreading both invasives and nasty diseases? I'm
looking for some research that shows the effects of boot cleaning with
different solutions. I'm active in some hiking groups and would love to
start setting an example and emailing others - but I need to know if for
instance, a 10% solution of alcohol in a spray bottle is sufficient? If it
should be herbicide sprayed on boots? And references with research for
the doubting Thomas's is needed.
