management and restoration firm located in Fitchburg, WI. We
currently have openings for prescribed burn crew members and invasive
species control team members.

Position: Prescribed burn crew.
Activities: Participate safely in prescribed grassland, savanna,
woodland, and wetland burns.
Terms of Employment: Part time, temporary, beginning immediately with
possibility of longer-term employment.
Required Qualifications: S-130 and S-190 certification. Proof of
passing either TNC's physical fitness test or NWCG Pack Test. Prior
burn experience required. Ability to work flexible hours. Own
transportation.
Pay: $12.00-$18.00/hr, depending on qualifications and experience.

Position: Invasive species control.
Activities: Chemical and mechanical control of invasive species, such
as garlic mustard, Canada thistle, reed canary grass, buckthorn, and
honeysuckle.
Terms of Employment: Part time, temporary, beginning mid- to late
April with possibility of longer-term employment.
Required Qualifications: Current Wisconsin pesticide certification
and license, or ability to obtain prior to start. Ability to field
ID native and invasive species at all growth stages. Ability to work
flexible hours. Own transportation.
Pay: $12.00-$18.00/hr, depending on qualifications and experience.
