The salary range is $41,766.40 min., $56,617.60 mid., $71,468.80 max. DATE
OPENED: 7/12/05. A mid-level professional position responsible for
overseeing the Vegetation Management Support contracts (both ground and
aerial services) for work in the Central and Southern Florida Flood Control
Project Stormwater Treatment Areas and other similar impoundments,
stewardship and interim lands, Everglades and Lake Okeechobee. This
includes pre-treatment inspection, developing work plans and contractual
work orders, contractor monitoring and oversight and post-treatment
inspections. Additionally, this position administers the herbicide bid for
the Agency, maintains all Florida Department of Environmental Protection
and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission permits for the
program, records management for the Division, grass carp stocking
District-wide, and updates the Vegetation Management SOP Manual. Bachelors
degree in biology, agronomy, plant science, or related natural science is
required. Four (4) to seven (7) year of vegetation management experience
required. Valid State of Florida driver's license. Must have State of
