Hi,

Please check out the Plant Conservation Alliance, Alien Plant Working
Group's "Weeds Gone Wild" web page for:

Two NEW fact sheets:
   Japanese barberry (Berberis thunbergii)
   paper mulberry (Broussonetia papyrifera)

and

Two UPDATED fact sheets:
   porcelainberry (Ampelopsis brevipedunculata)
   Japanese stilt grass (Microstegium vimineum)

You can find them all at: http://www.nps.gov/plants/alien/whatnew.htm

Thanks to authors, reviewers and photographers for their hard work and
contributions in getting these important educational materials completed.

Please spread the word and take advantage of the great resources available
through the Plant Conservation Alliance (http://www.nps.gov/plants). The
main PCA web page is a great resource for information on conservation and
restoration of native plants in the U.S. Three PCA working groups (Alien
Plant, Medicinal Plant, and Restoration) focus on those topics and have
separate web pages.

All PCA materials are fully available for use "as is" or modified as
desired by users. It is simply requested that appropriate credit be given
to the PCA, photographers and other individuals involved with specific
products.

*If you are interested in writing or reviewing a fact sheet, please contact
me. We are especially interested in adding fact sheets for aquatic plants
and new or recently discovered invaders which are of special concern.

COMING SOON.. Authors have submitted drafts for the following species:
Tall ryegrass (Lolium arundinaceum), Amur corktree (Phellodendron amurense
), Asian spiderwort (Murdannia keisak), pale swallowwort (Cynanchum
rossicum), black swallowwort (Cynanchum louiseae), cutleaved teasel (
Dipsacus laciniatus), common teasel (Dipsacus sylvaticus), Dalmatian
toadflax (Linaria dalmatica), glossy buckthorn (Frangula alnus),

Thanks very much,

Jil
